Home to Bad Robot, J.J. Abram’s production company, the National Typewriter Company is responsible for the hit TV series and family favorites such as ‘Lost’ and ‘Mission: Impossible III, as well as the newest release of the infamous Star Trek movies. The historical building is a refurbished 18,000 square feet creative workshop and facility featuring three floors of editing bays, a screen room (which also functions as a set), a state-of-the-art recording studio, and prop workshop. Additional renovations to the building include concrete and wood floors, exposed and painted brick, sculptural ceiling treatments, and large windows that cut through the roof to allow for natural light.
